HBCU has a strict policy for handling customer information. The information you provide to HBCU is confidential and protected to the fullest extent possible. HBCU will not disclose or distribute customer information to third parties without prior written consent by the customer.

 

Whether you're a Member already or are applying for one of our products, there'll be certain information about you that we need. The Data Protection Act ensures that you're entitled to know how we intend to use it.

 

Essentially, we use your information to look after your accounts or provide a particular service. Occasionally we may contact you about other things that may interest you or save you money, but of course you can opt out by informing your nearest branch.

 

Data Usage and policies

We don't sell or reveal your details to any companies outside our Group for their marketing purposes without your consent. If you are receiving any unsolicited marketing approaches from companies you don't normally deal with, you can prevent this by registering with the Mailing or Telephone Preference services:
