Who we are
People associated with the churches in the Handsworth & Aston areas of
Birmingham started this vibrant and growing credit union. A skilled team of
volunteers provides a swift, flexible, and friendly service to our members
and Junior Savers.
Our churches-based common bond results in very few problems with bad or doubtful
debts. We are actively involved in the West Midlands Chapter of Credit Unions
and are eager to learn from others and share with them the good practices we
have developed.
What we do
We provide a safe, convenient and rewarding home for
members’ savings?
From that pool of savings we offer affordable loans for all manner of useful
purposes.
Both savings and loans are covered by valuable Life Insurance, at no direct
cost to members.
How much interest will I get on my savings?
That depends on each
year's surplus. The amount last year it was 3½ percent,
this year it's 3.75%. This is very competitive indeed! And we are friendlier,
and much more flexible!
